While some of the Android smartphone vendors have been supporting themes as a part of their own customisations for a long time, Samsung has never been one of them, but it could change soon.
A set of screenshots and device images have appeared online, which show the existence of themes in a pre-release version of Samsung TouchWiz user interface. No specifics are known at this point but as we can see in the screenshots, the company will include one or two themes by default and the users will be able to download more, most likely from Galaxy Apps store.
It is important to note here that smartphone manufacturer tend to test a lot of stuff, but not all of it makes it to the final software or devices, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see theme support in the next version of TouchWiz.
